JOIN KANSAS CITY HAMPEL OIL TEAM AS TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

Hampel Oil Distributors, Inc. is a family‑owned and operated wholesale marketer and distributor of finished petroleum products that was started in 1976 by Al Hampel. Pay Range

Base salary: $70,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr

Additional Compensation

Annual Bonus (sales quotas met + incentive pay)

What You Will Do:
  • Manage the daily sales activities of the territory that promotes growth of the company.
  • Close new business and manage existing accounts.
  • Analyze data and trends to strategically develop business within industry segments.
  • Provide excellent customer service while serving existing client base.
  • Find creative solutions to customer pain‑points.
What Skills and Experience We are Looking For:
  • 3 years in a sales management position.
  • Previous experience in outside sales operations.
  • Growth mindset and a “hunter” type of sales attitude.
  • Ability to motivate and help others achieve their goals.
  • Tech‑savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to manage accounts with a CRM system and Linked In.
  • Excellent attention to detail and solid project‑management proficiency.
  • Great customer‑service attitude and interpersonal skills to support and work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, co‑workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
  • Previous sales experience in the fuel and lubricant industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • STLE, CLS or OMA1 certification.
