Sales Development Rep/SDR, Sales Representative
Join to apply for the Sales Coordinator role at Satellite Shelters Inc. Reports to:
Branch Manager.
The Sales Coordinator partners with the Branch Manager and other Sales Representatives to increase the prospect of product sales. Additionally, assisting in the upkeep of current customers, the Sales Coordinator will learn to incorporate sales techniques to grow and maintain our customer base.
This role is split 40% sales and 60% sales data upkeep.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Qualify incoming leads from sources.
- Develop and increase sales opportunities to meet assigned targets.
- Work with Sales Reps to coordinate the rental, sale, and lease of new and existing products and services.
- Maintain a high level of contact with key accounts to ensure long-term business relationships.
- Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers.
- Utilize trade data lists, marketing lists, trade associations and visiting customer job sites to acquire new customers.
- Follow up with customers on a timely basis to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Utilize available technology to assist in the capture of accurate customer data.
- Assist Sales Reps with producing timely quotes and converting quotes into orders.
- Maintain existing customer data and update as needed.
- Manage Satellite’s internet stores.
- Create and modify floor plans in company software.
- Work with marketing to create sales sheets, sale flyers, and other marketing materials.
- Develop and conduct marketing programs for assigned territory.
- Perform other duties as required.
No formal supervisory role.
Education and Experience Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or equivalent experience required.
- Development of a prioritization system to ensure work is completed quickly and efficiently.
- Proficient in Navision, CRM, Microsoft Office, or willingness to learn these software.
- Demonstrates conduct that is in alignment with Our Core Values.
- Ability to work effectively on a team to enhance the growth of the company.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills in working with customers, vendors, and sub-contractors.
- Proven ability to work accurately.
- Excellent problem‑solving and detail‑oriented skills.
- Experience using the telephone as a prospecting and sales tool.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM programs, and other computer software.
Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. The employee routinely talks or hears, stands, walks, uses hands to finger‑handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Employee is also required to lift up to 35 pounds of marketing material for trade shows and displays.
