The Kansas City, MO office is hiring a Personal Lines Account Manager to support our Personal Lines department and deliver exceptional risk‑management solutions to our growing client base.
You will partner with our sales team to facilitate day‑to‑day management of current clients’ insurance programs, helping the world prepare for the unexpected.
- Client Support
- Maintain accurate client information and address intermediate‑level inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.
- Assist in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate carrier personnel to recognize and satisfy carrier goals.
- Account Management
- Maintain files with proper records and follow company procedures to achieve positive audit results.
- Ensure accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client, process change requests and endorsement checking, and accurately transacting agency bill policies.
- Review all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to agency procedures.
- Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency’s retention strategies.
- Secure documentation needed to be retained by the agency, including signed applications and replacement cost estimates.
- Insurance Expertise
- Leverage technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; review quotes for gaps and assist with carrier inquiries.
- Attend training and seek self‑directed learning to continue industry education.
- Other duties as assigned
Required:
Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of client service and/or claims management experience – OR – High School degree/GED with 3+ years of client service and/or claims management experience. P&C License. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.
Preferred:
Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.
