Description The Cake Decorator is a key role within our bakery, responsible for crafting visually stunning and delicious cakes. This position requires a strong foundation in Cake Decorating techniques, coupled with a passion for Baking and a commitment to Food Safety and Sanitation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent Time Management skills, the ability to work effectively in a Teamwork environment, and a dedication to providing exceptional Customer Service.
This role demands a detail-oriented individual who can maintain Cleanliness and adhere to Safety Standards while producing high-quality products.
- Decorate cakes according to customer orders and established standards, demonstrating proficiency in various Cake Decorating techniques.
- Prepare and bake cake components, ensuring adherence to recipes and Food Preparation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, upholding strict Food Safety and Sanitation protocols.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks, demonstrating strong Time Management skills.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow, fostering Teamwork.
- Package and label finished products accurately, utilizing Packaging and Labeling best practices.
- Provide excellent Customer Service by interacting with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with positivity.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies, demonstrating General Mathematics skills.
- Adhere to all Safety Standards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach in all aspects of cake decoration and presentation.
- Working knowledge of Cake Decorating techniques, including frosting, piping, and fondant work.
- General knowledge of baking principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
