This is a full-time, in-house proprietary security position. Our officers are assigned to a consistent site and are part of a long-term team - not moved from contract to contract. You’ll work with company leadership, operate with professional standards, and be supported with the equipment and benefits needed to build a stable career.

• +$0.75/hour for evenings
• +$1.50/hour for overnights (Differentials stack when applicable.)

We’re looking for a vigilant, responsible, and team-oriented Security Officer to join our Sub Tropolis-based security team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience as an armed security officer and brings strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and a calm, confident presence to the role. They are comfortable enforcing rules and local laws, responding to a range of incidents, and interacting professionally with tenants, employees, and the public.

This person takes pride in upholding safety standards and protecting people, property, and reputation. They are reliable, self-disciplined, and prepared to act when needed—while maintaining the professional courtesy and ethical conduct that define Hunt Midwest Security.

As a Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in protecting the people, property, and operations of the World’s Largest Underground Business Complex, Sub Tropolis. You’ll patrol designated areas, enforce company policies and local laws, respond to emergencies, and serve as a visible, trusted presence for tenants, employees, and guests. From incident response to routine inspections, you’ll contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and operational readiness.

• Patrol assigned areas of Sub Tropolis to monitor for safety hazards, unauthorized activity, and general compliance with Hunt Midwest policies and local laws
• Enforce company regulations, municipal ordinances, and state/federal laws under the authority granted by the KCPD…
