** About the Safety & Security Department
** The Safety & Security Department ensures that ReDiscover provides a safe, welcoming environment for our clients, staff, and guests by maintaining full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Our team plays a key role in developing and implementing safety plans across all ReDiscover locations and special events—and often serves as the first friendly face to greet everyone who walks through our doors.
** What You’ll Do
*** Greet and monitor all persons entering and leaving ReDiscover facilities.
* Monitor building camera systems as needed.
* Monitor external walkways, parking lots, lobbies, entryways, internal hallways, restrooms, and other areas as needed.
* Assist with the development and implementation of safety plans for various locations and special events.
* Respond to all 911 calls, notify appropriate ReDiscover personnel of emergency situations, and communicate with emergency response agencies as appropriate.
* Maintain reliable attendance by working scheduled shifts and notifying the Safety & Security Team Leader as soon as possible of any anticipated or unexpected absence.
* Support Building Safety operations across multiple ReDiscover locations to ensure continuous, high-quality service.
* Maintain flexibility to work at different locations and occasional varying shifts based on staffing and operational needs.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Safety & Security Team Leader, in collaboration with the Director of Physical Infrastructure.
** Requirements of the Position
*** High School Diploma or GED required.
* Minimum of two (2) years of relevant security experience required.
* Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
* Experience with digital control systems and a variety of building automation systems preferred.
* Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle
* Strong communication and customer service skills
** Schedule Requirements
*** This is a stationary position
* The regular schedule for this role is Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
* ReDiscover has programs that operate seven (7) days per week, candidates must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
