Flat weekly rate! Company supplies building materials. Sub-contract work! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician – Handyman to join our team for the Kansas City area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accepting work orders for repairs within apartment complexes and single family homes. This role requires a strong independent worker who can follow through with repairs while following along with work order issued.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facilities per work order.
• Ability to pick up all needed materials from local sources and transport to job sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair interior and exterior fixtures.
• Supply and maintain tooling and equipment to complete all work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using emailed work orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all tenants in the building.
• Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required per work order.
• Lead small teams on specific projects when required per work order.

• Proficiency on pre-planning for needed tooling and equipment
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• and general repairs.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques and materials.
• Competence in using email for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules.
• Leadership abilities to guide team members on projects or during peak workload periods.
• Remodeling full rooms is a plus
