This is an entry‑level, full‑time, hourly position involving installation of components for building automation systems. We seek a diligent and self‑driven worker with attention to detail who is teachable, has a strong desire to learn, and is open to constructive criticism.

Install HVAC and building automation controls on new construction, remodels, and service locations.
• Install communication and control wire in such as above‑ceiling grids, interior and exterior walls, tight crawl spaces, or high places.
• Install control devices in hard‑to‑reach locations.
• Install controllers and terminate wires for sensors and actuators using a wiring diagram.
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and wiring diagrams.

• Minimum of one‑year technical certificate in HVAC or equivalent from an accredited institution, or two years of experience in an HVAC‑related field (preferred).

• Aptitude for electrical wiring and reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications for a project.
• Capability to bend conduit to fit an application.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at moderate heights (20–30 feet).
• Must be capable of lifting equipment up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends as necessary.
• Ability to use a multimeter.
• Desire and aptitude to eventually lead a crew.
• Ownership of basic tools (screwdriver, drill, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license; ability to drive a company vehicle when necessary (21+ years).
• Must pass a drug screening test.

Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, recovery equipment, and various other plumbing equipment. The position requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.

Physical demand requirements are at a medium work level.

Primarily works alone, traveling to different work sites each day. May work in tight indoor spaces and in poor outdoor weather conditions. Vehicles are used as the base of operations.
