Position: Carpenter (Forms Carpenter)
Reports to: Foreman or Superintendent
Job Type: Full-time, Union

• Build wood and metal forms for concrete structures, footings, slabs, walls, beams, and columns per specifications.
• Set up and secure forms at the correct location; level ground, ensure forms are stable and aligned, and reinforce to withstand concrete pressure.
• Maintain and repair forms between uses to extend lifespan and maintain safety standards.
• Dismantle, clean, store, or dispose of forms after use.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools to perform work.
• Adhere to and promote safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards, concerns, or incidents immediately.
• Communicate and work with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a productive work environment.
• Regular and punctual attendance.

• Experience as a carpenter on heavy civil construction projects (preferred).
• Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers).
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability and willingness to work at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to walk, stand, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, sit, climb, and perform physically demanding tasks (including lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to remain alert and respond to the team and environment in safety-sensitive conditions near heavy equipment and traffic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable transportation to and from construction sites.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
