Job Description
Crittenton Children’s Center is the Kansas City area’s premier provider of psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and their families. Located on a 96‑acre campus near Longview Lake, the center offers serenity, beauty, and privacy to assist with the healing process.
The OpportunityFor more than 120 years we have cared for the emotional health of Kansas City’s children and families. Today we offer one of the area’s most comprehensive behavioral health care programs, backed by the full resources of Saint Luke’s Health System.
The Work- Full‑time, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility is required.
- Provide case management services to children and families in the foster care system.
- Support placements, crisis intervention, educational advocacy, and authorization of services.
- Act as liaison and provide permanency testimony in family court.
- Maintain client records and plan up to and including adoption.
- Recruit potential adoptive resources.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year of experience in social work.
- Must have a clean driving record and applicable vehicle insurance.
