Sr. Java Developer - Kansas , MO - Fulltime

This position provides software development services by producing high-quality software using well-defined approaches to problem-solving and best practices in software development.

The role involves working with engineering peers, Technical Leads, Architects, and other stakeholders to translate product vision into innovative solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Upgrading knowledge by studying new releases, features, and workarounds.
• Testing, verifying fixes, and code changes of new releases.
• Quickly ramping up on new technologies, languages, and frameworks.
• Developing and extending existing applications and products.
• Ensuring software meets product requirements and quality standards.
• Participating in Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, and practices such as BDD and TDD.
• Designing solutions, system workflows, and integrations.
• Conducting system analysis to improve software operations.

Required Experience:

• Expertise in Linux and related technologies.
• Experience with Maven and Git is desirable.
• 10+ years in Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS like MSSQL, MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL;
  Hibernate experience is a plus.
• Background in Healthcare domain, including Meaningful Use, HL7, and HIPAA.
• Experience with load and stress testing.
• Automation of tasks.
• Comfortable working across Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.

Education: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
