Warehouse Wave Replenishment Full Time 2nd Shift

Schedule:

11:00am-7:30pm, Monday-Friday. Staples is business to business. You’re what binds us together. This role supports Staples World Class Supply Chain Team and delivering essential products to our customers.

• Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator: operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to pick product up to 100 lbs and move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Not all work will be completed on material handling equipment.
• Warehouse Porter: perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility while adhering to safety procedures. May operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse as needed.
• Warehouse Replenishment: operate material handling equipment to pick and move product up to 100 lbs within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures. Not all work will be completed on material handling equipment.
• Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns: confirm accuracy of product, address discrepancies and damages, communicate with internal and external contacts to resolve issues, manually unload trucks and palletize products, and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Warehouse Returns: move product within the warehouse using material handling equipment, match item quantities/descriptions to packing slips, check in returned items and tag appropriately.
• Shipping: organize, stack, shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets, and load trucks manually while observing safety and maintaining a clean workspace. May involve lifting and carrying.

• Ability to be Material Handling Equipment Operator certified and safely operate applicable equipment.
• Ability and willingness to keep the work area clean.

• Ability to quickly adopt safety procedures and perform safe work practices.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment, or equivalent training/education/experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If hired as a Full-Time associate, ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required based on business need.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing 70-100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker is helpful.

• Competitive Pay Rate: $22.30/hour (includes $1.00/hour Shift Differential)
