Performing Arts Instructor (Band, Vocal Music or Orchestra) - Blue Valley West High School. Under the supervision of a licensed professional, this position provides support to the instructional process by assisting in the instruction, rehearsals and/or performances of instrumental music students.

• Prepare students as soloists or ensemble members for performances; supervise sectional rehearsals and ensembles; and prepare groups for participation in school performances, festivals, clinics, parades, etc.
• Demonstrate knowledge of instrumental music techniques, performance practices, and the ability to develop musicianship in a classroom setting.
• Familiarity with instrumental music ensembles and different instruments and components; read and interpret music notation; effectively work with all students; and maintain confidentiality.
