Job Description
We are excited to offer a teaching opportunity at a very attractive location in the state of Kansas! Perry-Lecompton Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a high school Chemistry teacher. The current courses for this position include:
Chemistry, and General Science. Applicants must hold a current Kansas teaching license with the appropriate endorsement for this position or be willing to obtain the endorsement by passing the Praxis exam within two years.
Each classroom in the building is equipped with a Promethean board, and each teacher is issued a classroom laptop, plus an iPad for teaching and administrative tasks. USD #343 is a 1:1 iPad district. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology for instruction and communication with minimal support. We generally have various supplemental coaching/sponsor positions available.
This position comes with fully paid Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas health insurance, and fully paid Delta Dental insurance.
