Stockton USD 271 –

• Plan, deliver, and assess instruction aligned with Kansas College and Career Ready Standards (KCCRS) for English Language Arts.
• Provide instruction in reading, writing, speaking, listening, language, and literature for grades 7–12.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, assessments, and technologies, including ITV when applicable.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance in accordance with district policies.
• Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to support student success.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and expectations.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and required school activities.
• Supervise students and fulfill assigned duties (e.g., hall, lunch, study hall) as required.
• Comply with all district, state, and federal regulations and policies.

• Experience or credentialing to teach English Language Arts to grades 7–12.
• Ability to plan and implement lessons aligned to KCCRS.
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
