Do you want to make a difference in the life of a student? The Transportation Department is seeking caring, consistent adults to join our para educator team. These para educators work to provide extra support to students so they can safely get to school via bus or van. The position typically provides for a few hours of work in the early morning and again late afternoon.

During the interview process, we will provide more detailed information regarding the day-to-day duties of the specific para position.

• Provide extra support to students so they can safely get to school via bus or van.
• Work a few hours early in the morning and again late in the afternoon.
• Assist with student transportation logistics as needed.

• Pass a background check.
• Have a current TB test.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Are strong team players.
• Possess basic computer and math skills.
• Must enjoy a fast pace environment.
• Can spend 80% of day standing and 20% walking; be able to lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use finger dexterity.
• Maintain regular and acceptable attendance/punctuality.
