Admissions Counselor

We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Admissions Counselor to be a part of our institution. You should be able to guide students with academic selections and admissions. You should be able to explain various course offerings to students and how they can benefit from it.

You should also be able to assist them in gathering required documents for the admission. Besides, you should be able to interview students and understand their career goals. Moreover, you should be able to arrange campus tours and coordinate various networking events.

As an Admissions Counselor, you should have an excellent listening ear and complete knowledge of the latest educational developments. Furthermore, you should be willing to work for flexible hours and travel to different locations. You should be able to represent the institution at various career fairs and events.

Responsibilities
  • Helping students prepare for academic selections
  • Capturing the attention of students by stating the key benefits and offerings of a particular course, program, or even an institution
  • Assisting students in picking the right courses
  • Providing career guidance to students
  • Providing information on the various admission procedures and requirements
  • Staying up-to-date with the developments and changes on the educational sector
  • Offering financial assistance to students as and when required
  • Conducting recruiting events, job fairs, and other networking opportunities
  • Interviewing students, reviewing their applications, and determining their career goals
  • Arranging campus tours as and when required
  • Assisting in obtaining funding
Requirements
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Complete knowledge of the education policies, regulations, and requirements
  • Familiarity with various courses, programs, and educational resources
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual
  • Willingness to travel to different locations
  • Ability to work for flexible hours
  • Strong leadership skills
