Position: School Counselor; 2026-2027 School Year
Location: Burlingame

USD 454-Burlingame is seeking a qualified School District Counselor to serve students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 for the  school year.

Responsibilities include:

teaching a social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum for K-12 students; providing individual and small-group counseling; delivering career and college counseling, including knowledge of Kansas Career and Technical Pathway options; assisting students with postsecondary planning and college application processes; building and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community members; and managing documentation, timelines, and deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications:

valid Kansas School Counselor license (or eligibility); strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; and the ability to collaborate effectively across the school district. Salary Information

Salary for  ranged from $50,375 to $63,025 plus benefits. Salary is based upon additional learning and experience.

Burlingame, USD 454 is located in northeast Kansas just south of Topeka, the state’s capitol.
