Nurse`s Aide

Overview

USD 320 Wamego is accepting applications for a Certified Nurse’s Aide. Applicants must hold at minimum a CNA license. Hours may vary based on need, but will be approximately 7:45am - 3:45pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Pay begins at $14.14-$16.39 per hour. This position will serve Wamego Middle School and Wamego High School students.

This position will be offered a competitive benefits package. This is a KPERS retirement position.

• Screen staff and students prior to entry into school buildings.
• Caring for ill students throughout the school day.
• Administering medications.
• Assisting school nurses with documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• CNA license required (minimum).
• Knowledge of current Google Workspace programs preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and strong phone skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

There are approximately 185 certified staff and 265 classified staff.
