Questions before applying?

As the Language Instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive language instruction programs focused on teaching the Potawatomi language to students of various ages and proficiency levels. Your primary goal will be to ensure the preservation, revitalization, and promotion of the Potawatomi language, culture, and heritage within the community and beyond. You will work closely with educational institutions, tribal organizations, and community members to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for the language and its significance.

Driving: Must have a valid driver's license free of occupational restrictions. Must be insurable with the Nation's insurance carrier.

Experience: Five years of training in the Potawatomi language with intermediate level proficiency (ACTFL).

Education: HS Diploma/GED
