The Engineering Manager plays a critical role in leading day-to-day operations of Manufacturing Planning and Manufacturing Engineering, driving continuous improvement (CI), and facilitating the professional growth of our engineering teams. This is an on-site position only. No remote work.
Role and Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day operations of Manufacturing Planning and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure efficient production support and alignment with business goals.
- Provide hands‑on shop floor support by reviewing and resolving Engineering RFAs, ensuring timely and accurate technical solutions.
- Oversee and execute engineering change management processes, driving accuracy, compliance, and minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop, mentor, and coach engineering team members, fostering technical expertise, professional growth, and strong collaboration.
- Partner cross‑functionally with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Advanced Excel, Power Point, and other Office application skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in CAD software – Catia V5 preferred.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation‑appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- All candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- All candidates are expected to adhere to HR and employee handbook guidelines.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Drug‑ and alcohol‑free work environment.
- CMMC Level 2 compliant aerospace manufacturer facility.
