Location: EdwardsvilleStarting Pay Range: $67,434.00 - $86,990.00 / year. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range or starting rate of candidates hired for the location that this requisition has been posted. POSITION OVERVIEW:Analyze operational data/methods, identify performance improvement opportunities and/or implement technology systems that meet business objectives. Provide analysis, reporting tools and support for field operations to effectively control and/or justify operational costs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze data obtained through multiple sources including data mining tools and other statistical analysis tools.Research, analyze and consolidate technical or engineering related information and present for management review.Develop, evaluate, document and improve operations methods to work area design, process flow and work methods.Monitor, analyze and recommend ways to improve productivity, service and cost performance in all areas of operations in conjunction with management.Collaborate with all levels of field leadership to identify trends in performance.Establish a communication link between operations and corporate departments; provide data and technical expertise relating to facility and equipment planning, layout and cost justification.Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop and implement corporate projects.Provide education and support for new technology deployments.Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.Perform other duties as required.Disclaimer: This job description is general in nature and is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job.
QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Transportation or related field or equivalent work experience plus three (3) years’ professional experience in applied engineering concepts and technology.Knowledge of equipment and properties resource planning.Experienced with Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.Knowledge of mapping applications.Good analytical and problem solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as a team member.WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to travel.
