Customer Service Rep
Are you passionate about helping others and ready to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment? We are currently accepting applications for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Medical Equipment Department at our Hiawatha, KS location.
We're looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. The ideal individual is adaptable, able to multitask, and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist patients both in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding medical equipment questions and patient needs
Assist patients in obtaining the correct medical equipment based on their medical needs and physician orders
Demonstrate proper use and setup of equipment such as CPAP machines, oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, walkers, and diabetic shoes and supplies.
Measure and fit patients for equipment, ensuring proper function and comfort
Accurately enter physician orders and patient information into the system for timely order processing
Schedule appointments and dispense equipment to patients once all documentation and criteria are met
Assist with supply refills to maintain patient compliance with treatment plans
Manage inventory: order, receive, stock, and maintain merchandise for resale
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to changing situations and multitask effectively
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
Knowledge of or willingness to learn medical equipment and insurance documentation processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and insurance guidelines
Physical ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to rotate on an after-hours emergency on-call schedule
