Are you passionate about helping others and ready to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment? We are currently accepting applications for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Medical Equipment Department at our Hiawatha, KS location.

We're looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. The ideal individual is adaptable, able to multitask, and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients both in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding medical equipment questions and patient needs

  • Assist patients in obtaining the correct medical equipment based on their medical needs and physician orders

  • Demonstrate proper use and setup of equipment such as CPAP machines, oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, walkers, and diabetic shoes and supplies.

  • Measure and fit patients for equipment, ensuring proper function and comfort

  • Accurately enter physician orders and patient information into the system for timely order processing

  • Schedule appointments and dispense equipment to patients once all documentation and criteria are met

  • Assist with supply refills to maintain patient compliance with treatment plans

  • Manage inventory: order, receive, stock, and maintain merchandise for resale

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and multitask effectively

  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems

  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn medical equipment and insurance documentation processes

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and insurance guidelines

  • Physical ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Willingness to rotate on an after-hours emergency on-call schedule
