The specialist will be responsible for daily medical insurance and billing activities, including understanding and processing medical terminology, handling insurance claims and denials, and working with ICD-10 codes and Medicare. The role includes accurate billing, follow-ups on unpaid claims, and resolving any issues related to insurance coverage and payments.

- Proficiency in Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding
- Experience handling insurance claims, including Medicare
- Knowledge and ability to manage claim denials and appeals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a medical billing role is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in medical billing or a related field is a plus
