Infection Preventionist Position
Infection Preventionist at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA. This position is full time and will work 8‑hour day shifts.

The Infection Prevention Specialist functions as an independent practitioner, expected to work autonomously with no need for mentorship.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health science field.
- National Certification in Infection Control from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology within one year of hire.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
- At least 2 years of healthcare experience (4 years preferred).
- At least 2 years of epidemiology or infection‑prevention experience (4 years preferred).
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health science field.

Wage Range & CompensationThe base pay range for this position is $47.05 – $73.04 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonuses.
