Overview

Location - Jetmore, KS

This role involves taking medical images to help diagnose patients in the radiology department. You will also operate equipment in the emergency room and during surgeries using portable devices. The job requires providing care and information to patients while keeping track of their records and procedures. It's important to understand and support patients' needs, including those related to language differences. You will treat all patients and their families with kindness and respect, ensuring their privacy is maintained.

You'll also need to communicate clearly with patients and offer reassurance when necessary. You should be able to work independently and have the necessary skills for the job. This position may require you to participate in an on-call schedule during evenings and weekends.

  Experience:
  
  You should have completed a two-year radiologic technology program or something similar.
• Certification/Licensing: A certification from the State of Kansas is required, and you should be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience: While having at least one year of experience with radiology or CT scans is preferred, new graduates will be considered.
• Education Requirements: Must have either a bachelor’s or associate degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or something related.
• ARRT: You need to have the ARRT certification.
