Join Our Dynamic Rehabilitation Team Transform Lives and Make a Difference We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Unit Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare team at a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital. This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a diverse setting including Skilled Swing Bed and Outpatient Therapy where your skills directly impact patient recovery and quality of life.
With an average inpatient census of 3-4 patients and outpatient caseload of 6 patients daily, you will play a vital part in delivering personalized, high-quality rehabilitative care.
Required Skills:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Occupational Therapist (OT) Proven experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, modalities, and patient-centered care Proficiency with Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment Nice to Have
Skills:
Previous experience in a critical access hospital setting Certification in specialized rehabilitation techniques or modalities Experience working with diverse patient populations, including geriatric and post-surgical cases Bilingual abilities to assist a broader patient demographic Preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in related healthcare discipline (PT, PTA, OT) Minimum of 2 years of outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation experience Prior experience in a rural or critical access hospital environment is advantageous Other Requirements:
Availability for full-time hours (40 hours/week) on a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Shift length of 9 hours Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed Active licensure, certifications, and compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development Competitive hourly pay rate of $67.00, with benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay schedule via direct deposit, paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program.
