Laundry Attendant

• Washes and folds linens for rooms as needed
• Maintains inventory to ensure that linen and cleaning supplies are accountable
• Handles special requests in a manner that ensures guest satisfaction
• Keeps keys in a safe manner
• Keeps all guests’ belongings in a safe manner
• Maintains machines in a clean manner
• Maintains floors, folding tables, sinks, etc., in a clean orderly manner
• Functions as House Person, Room Attendant, Heavy Duty Room Attendant and/or Rooms Control Coordinator as needed
• Performs training duties as assigned
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner

• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
• Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
• Ability to work well with team members and supervisory staff
• A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous hotel housekeeping and/or environmental services experience
• Prior customer service experience

• Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, and stoop while performing essential job functions
• Stand and walk for up to eight hours
• No known allergic reaction to cleaning chemicals
• Able to tolerate second‑hand smoke
• Respond to visual and aural cues
• Must have basic English communication skills
• Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
• Must be able to meet the level three or medium work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles:
  Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly
