DB Database Administrator at MNJ SOFTWARE, you will participate in design, development and implementation of architectural deliverables of custom projects and products of MNJ SOFTWARE. The role includes working closely with lead, testers, customers, project/product managers and designers.

Full time [Monday – Friday]. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 9-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (6am - 10pm IST) or (6pm to 6am IST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime [unpaid].

Technical/Functional Skills
- Coding skill with at least one of JavaScript, Python, Perl, Ruby or Java.
- 1-2 + Years experience and knowledge of Mongo
DB database administration and other No
SQL database concepts. - Minimum of 2 Years experience of Linux Proficiency.
- Experience with modern 24x7 web production environments.
- Experience with database Replication and Scaling Issues.
- Experience with Big Data projects and Hadoop a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (as needed).
- Successful experience working in a Team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Configure and monitor Mongo
DB, No
SQL and Columnar DB instances. - Automate routine tasks with your own scripts and open-source tools.
- Solve production Problems and Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Improve database Backups and Test Recoverability Regularly.
- Research the business needs of our applications and optimize them using Mongo
DB and No
SQL. - Maintain database Performance and Capacity planning.
- Document and collaborate with Technology and Business organizations.
