Summary
Cashco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the flow of materials, goods, and information throughout our supply chain process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of components for valve production. The role will also require collaboration with internal teams and suppliers to maintain efficiency, reduce costs, and meet production schedules.
Responsibilities- Inventory Management:
Monitor and track stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods; maintain accurate records of inventory transactions; perform regular stock audits to identify discrepancies; work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and organization of materials. - Order Processing:
Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials from suppliers; assist with quality control checks to verify the accuracy and condition of materials and standards; ensure all supply chain processes comply with company policies and industry regulations. - Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of valves to customers; resolve material shortages and expedite orders as needed to meet production runs; collaborate with production teams to ensure all materials are available for scheduled production. - Production Support:
Support the Supply Chain Manager in analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement; generate and maintain reports on inventory levels, order status, and shipping activities; update and maintain the supply chain management system with accurate information. - Data Entry & Reporting:
Address supplier issues, including delays, quality concerns, or discrepancies; provide suppliers with forecasts and order schedules to avoid shortages; maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability. - Supplier Communication:
Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth movement of goods from suppliers to the production floor; ensure shipping documents are complete, track incoming shipments, and resolve any issues; manage returns, exchanges, or issues with suppliers when necessary. - Process Improvement:
Participate in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency; suggest ideas for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and better resource utilization.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain preferred.
- Strong computer skills; familiarity with purchasing and supply chain software is desirable.
- Detail oriented with excellent written and communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate professionally via email, face‑to‑face, and over the phone; must be able to multi‑task and maintain focus both individually and as a team member; must be a reliable and dependable team player.
