Base pay range$20.00/yr - $26.00/yr
Responsibilities- Analyze and install air and hydraulic components based on work plans and blueprints.
- Install air and hydraulic components on equipment; analyze machinery for correct fit and functional operation.
- Collaborate with the assembly team to plan component placement to avoid interference with electrical systems and shields.
- Work with team members to solve problems with fit and operation.
- Disassemble components and prepare them for shipment.
- Monitor fitting inventory levels.
- Follow safety and security procedures; use equipment and materials properly.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized work area.
- Participate in project teams and assist in other departments as needed (electrical, mechanical, shields).
- Travel to respond to customer needs when necessary (domestic and/or international, approx. 3–4 times per year).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Previous experience as a mechanic in auto, diesel, or agriculture settings.
- Experience working on personal vehicles; farming background is a plus.
- Industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to use and understand measuring instruments; read blueprints, bills of materials, and setup sheets.
- Proficiency with a wide range of tools and precision instruments; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Basic math concepts; participation in continuous improvement activities.
- Supply own hand tools; ability to adapt to changing assignments; reliable and punctual; willingness to travel as required (10–15%).
- Valid Driver's License.
- High school degree or equivalent; related coursework at a trade school or technical school is preferred.
- Formal industrial-related training is a plus.
- Follows instructions; responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions and suggests improvements.
- Commitment to long hours when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time; quality-focused.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
