Job DescriptionBushing Technician
Location: IKO Glass Fiber Inc., Chester, SC
Department: Production
Type: Full Time (FT/PT/Cont)

- Maintain exceptional attendance and punctuality.
- Promote safety and follow all policies and procedures.
- Identify and troubleshoot poor performing bushings and positions, and implement corrective actions.
- Control bushing melt rates using statistical process control techniques and maintain optimal temperature profiles.
- Monitor, adjust, and repair bushing, forming, and chopper operations.
- Ensure product quality and perform routine maintenance and adjustments.
- Assist fiber formers to optimize process performance.
- Complete all logs and audit sheets accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior glass operations experience is beneficial but not required.
- At least three years of manufacturing experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in high-temperature environments and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts including days and nights.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.
