Gantry CNC Machinist, Level 2-3

Dynamic NC, located in Rose Hill, KS, is recruiting experienced 5‑Axis Gantry CNC Machinists. Dynamic NC is the leading supplier of aerospace technology, equipment, and innovative solutions. • Familiarity with FANUC controls.
• Firm understanding of running 5‑Axis Gantry machines.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials in machines and tooling for machining parts in accordance with internal setup documents.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining and adjust machine control media as required.
• Verify conformance of workmanship to specifications using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
• Operate crane to lift and load parts.
• Confers with production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems.
• Adheres to internal health and safety protocols to perform duties.

• Drug‑ and alcohol‑free work environment.
