Load Planner ; Edwardsville, KS

• Maintain orderly and accurate flow of trailers and shipping orders throughout the shipping system.
• Performs all duties in an efficient orderly manner to obtain the desired and expected load out goals and deadline departure times, as set forth by management and scheduling.
• Communicate with the traffic department.
• Perform all PC terminal functions.
• Prepare paperwork neatly and accurately; communicate with scheduling.
• Other duties as required.
• Must be willing to cross train and be developed in other areas and departments.

Sunday - Tuesday (6PM to 6AM) & Wednesday (6PM to midnight).

• Education:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  2 years experience with Forward Warehouse Material Handling TCCS or PBX function.
• Computer
  
  Skills:
  
  Basic computer skills required.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate using radio telephone e-mail and person to person.
• Special
  
  Skills:
  
  Understanding of all business factors impacting warehouse planning decision making.
• Travel:
  Minimal
