Overview

First Baptist Church of Belleville, KS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate bi‑vocational Pastor to lead our congregation in spiritual growth and community service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a deep commitment to Christian values, providing guidance and support to individuals and families within the church.

• Lead worship services, including preaching and teaching biblical principles.
• Provide Christian counseling to individuals and families, offering support during times of crisis.
• Educate the congregation on spiritual matters.
• Offer bereavement support to families in need, helping them navigate their grief.
• Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the well‑being of church members.
• Collaborate with church leadership to develop programs that meet the needs of the congregation.

• Proven experience in pastoral care or a related field is preferred.
• A commitment to ongoing education and personal development in theological studies is encouraged.

• Parsonage available
• Package includes base salary, housing allowance, Social Security match, MMBB retirement / medical insurance allowance
• Position is the equivalent of 3 days per week.
