Overview
We are seeking a Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse
, also referred to as our Cardiac Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) or CCU RN. The Cardiac Nurse plays a critical role in attending to patients with heart conditions, cardiac issues, and associated illnesses, providing tailored care to enhance recovery and quality of life.
Bonus Options: Up to a $20,000 (Paid out as stipends every 90 days)

Hours: 12-hour options – Self Schedule

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities, which is crucial for patients recovering from cardiac procedures, heart attacks, or other cardiac conditions
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs, cardiac medications, and pain management medications
- Perform assessments of patients' cardiac status, including physical assessments, review medical histories, and evaluate symptoms
- Provide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices
- React promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or respiratory distress, necessitating immediate implementation of emergency procedures, administration of CPR, and aiding in defibrillation and other crucial life-saving measures
