Qualifications & Details
  • Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Caring and compassionate demeanor
  • Leadership and mentorship skills
  • Ability to work the scheduled shift (Day shift: 6 a.m.–6 p.m., flexible days)
  • Proficient reading, writing & speaking in English
Responsibilities
  • Enhance the clinical care and quality of life for residents, ensuring all rights are protected.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
  • Check residents daily to ensure proper administration of treatments and evaluate their physical and emotional status.
  • Keep RN Supervisor informed about resident status, staff and related matters.
  • Implement recommended changes as directed by RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
  • Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, dressing changes, colostomy management, and specimen collection.
  • Complete required record‑keeping forms/charts for admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Give and receive nursing reports during shift changes.
  • Investigate complaints and grievances, reporting findings orally or in writing.
  • Present a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior and speech.
  • Adhere to policies and standards.
