Travel Registered Nurse PACU

Registered Nurse - PACU in a travel-capable role for a 13-week assignment in a short-term acute care setting located in Dundee, Kansas. • Provide comprehensive PACU and Pre-Op nursing care for postoperative patients
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain control, and hemodynamic stability; promptly respond to evolving conditions
• Administer medications as ordered; observe for adverse reactions and document responses
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams; ensure accurate handoffs and smooth transition of care to PACU
• Document assessments, interventions, and discharge planning; maintain clear, compliant nursing notes
• Uphold patient safety, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures

• Active Kansas RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 1 year PACU and Pre-Op experience
• Ability to work 4x10-hour daytime shifts with varying start times (earliest 0600)
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (8 shifts per month, weekends/holidays)
• Travel experience preferred; new graduates not accepted
