Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
We are currently seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Med-Surg team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a small rural critical access hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities and personal care for patients.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Support nursing staff in maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Participate in the implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
This position requires a commitment to the following schedule:
- Shifts:
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Weekly hours:
Approximately 36 hours - Every other weekend availability
- Holiday rotation required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a critical access hospital (CAH) setting is essential.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Must be registered with the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry (KDADS).
On average, staff will care for 4 to 5 acute patients at a time, with a maximum of 10 patients.
