We are a family farming operation located in central Kansas looking for a full-time farm and/or ranch employee. We raise crops on both irrigated and dry land.
We also have a small back grounding feed lot, commercial cow herd, and run stocker calves on pasture.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- feeding and caring for cattle in small dry lot and native pasture
- building and repairing pasture fence, including electric fence
- maintaining farm equipment
- operating farm equipment during planting and harvesting including hauling grain to elevator
- general farm and ranch duties, etc.
Experience operating a sprayer would be a plus, or we can train the right applicant that would have an interest.
Applicants must have a driver's license - CDL would be preferred but not required.
Position available IMMEDIATELY. Compensation will be competitive, with possibility of housing and work vehicle provided. Paid health insurance for employee.
