American Implement is seeking a Sales Representative for our dealership in Hugoton, Kansas.
American Implement is looking for an experienced Sales Representative familiar with local agricultural practices. This person will use interpersonal and product knowledge, organizational skills to develop sales leads and provide solutions to customers. Professional presentation and excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clean motor vehicle record. EOE.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Represent the company in the promotion and sale of new and used agricultural products.
- Maintain current product knowledge of all sellable equipment.
- Monitor competitive activity and timely communicate to management.
- Maintain sales management information for all customers in assigned territory.
- Follow the defined sales process in CRM as per AI guidelines & policy.
- Maintain effective communication with appropriate sales staff, other departments, and customers to meet sales objectives.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with preparation and execution of customer events.
- Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
- Monitor customer business trends and communicate to management.
- Maintain knowledge of financing options to aid customer purchases.
- Maintain knowledge of used equipment values for accurate trading.
- Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years of equipment sales experience preferred.
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming practices preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet tools.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Strong interpersonal/customer-service skills.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking. Must lift up to 25 lbs. routinely and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Position requires driving, extensive computer usage, hearing, speaking, and seeing. Must lift and unload trailers with equipment safely in various weather conditions.
