Security Officer - PT
Prairie Band Casino & Resort is looking for a part‑time Security Officer to maintain a safe environment and assist with minor medical situations.
$750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $50 in gas gift cards during onboarding.

- Project professionalism and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests;
- Perform dispatch as assigned;
- Monitor safety and security of external facility as Parking Lot Officer;
- Escort all internal money transfers throughout facility;
- Safeguard casino assets;
- Enforce Tribal State Gaming Regulations—including Systems of Internal Controls and Emergency Operating Procedures;
- Prepare accident reports and security incident reports;
- Escort gaming chips, coin, and cash;
- Collect and transport drop boxes to storage area;
- Report improper or illegal acts to Security Supervisor or Shift Manager;
- Assist with medical situations and render first aid when required;
- Train new Security Officers as necessary;
- Resolve service problems, including difficult situations according to guidelines;
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly working environment;
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same;
- Additional duties as assigned.
- At least 18 years old;
- Good driving record and able to drive in all weather conditions;
- Basic computer skills;
- Basic math proficiency;
- Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus;
- Work independently and as part of a team;
- Professional appearance per Team Member Handbook;
- Adhere to attendance guidelines per Handbook;
- Available to work required schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, overtime as needed);
- Satisfactory performance and reliability record in prior employment.
- High School Diploma or GED;
- Valid driver's license;
- Six months of customer service or related experience.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations;
- Tolerate secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights;
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, grip items; excellent vision and hearing;
- Respond to visual and aural cues;
- Operate under mental and physical stress;
- Use ear piece for 8‑10 hours;
- Stand or walk for 8‑10 hours;
- Use tact with difficult customers;
- Restraining combative customers when necessary;
- Meet "Level Three" work requirements (20‑50 lbs occasionally, 10‑25 lbs frequently).
