As a Security Officer - Logistics Driver in Edwardsville, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As part of Allied Universal, you will be responsible for access control duties at a logistics and distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will operate company vehicles as part of your daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist with traffic control and vehicle inspections as required at entry and exit points.
• Document and report any unusual activity or hazards observed during patrols or at access points.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
