American Implement is seeking a skilled, dedicated, and motivated Ag Diesel Technician to join our dealership in Goodland, Kansas. The candidate will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various systems of agricultural equipment to keep producers running at full capacity.

• Full-time position with 45+ hours per week.
• Base hourly wage $16-40+ per hour, DOE

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment.
• Perform diagnosis and plan efficient repairs of machinery.
• Prepare all reports and forms required for work assignments.
• Follow production schedules and requirements for completion.
• Participate in Service Training programs.
• Maintain vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Provide professional and courteous service and positive company image.
• Perform other service tasks as directed by Service Manager or Foreman.

• 3–5 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.
• John Deere Technician experience or IT graduate, or equivalent training preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostics.
• Computer skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Set of tools for repairs and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead; regularly lifting 75 lbs without assistance; driving a vehicle; extensive computer use; hearing normal tones; seeing. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
