Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Master Electrician to oversee and execute electrical projects within our limestone fabrication plant. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and working with high and low voltage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC), as well as proficiency with various hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and schematics.

The Master Electrician will lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial sites.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring layouts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
  • Install and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems for automation processes.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards, safety regulations, and local building codes.
  • Conduct inspections of electrical systems during renovation or construction projects to verify proper installation.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for project records and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan electrical phases of construction or renovation projects.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices related to high voltage systems, schematics reading, and new electrical technologies.
Qualifications
  • Valid Master Electrician license in good standing.
  • Extensive experience in industrial electrician work, commercial electrical systems, or construction site environments.
  • Proficiency with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and NEC standards.
  • Hands‑on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage (HV), low voltage (LV), and schematic diagrams.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers; power tools including drills; ohmmeters; and other electrical testing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical code requirements related to renovation projects and construction sites.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex electrical projects independently or within a team setting.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot efficiently under pressure.
  • This role demands a dedicated professional committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning within the electrical trade.

Pay:
From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
