Seasonal Holiday Light Installer — Wetlands Irrigation and Turf, LLC

$20/hour plus production bonuses | Temporary seasonal job | 45–50 hours per week | 5–6 weeks | Galva, Kansas and surrounding service territory

Make some extra cash before the holidays while doing work people are excited to see.

Wetlands Irrigation and Turf is hiring seasonal holiday light installers (also known as Christmas light installers) who are comfortable working at heights, climbing, and using ladders safely. You will work with a field crew to install and remove holiday lighting, protect customer property, follow our lighting standards, and finish each site clean and ready for the customer.

Schedule and timing:
Training is Friday, October 23, paid at the same $20/hour rate. Field work begins the week of October 26 and runs approximately 5–6 weeks. Plan on 45–50 hours per week during the engagement.

Before the initial interview:
Candidates must complete a short height, climbing, and ladder demonstration. This is a real requirement of the job.

Is this you?

  • You are comfortable with heights and want hands-on outdoor work.
  • You show up when you say you will and communicate early when something changes.
  • You can follow a standard carefully instead of taking shortcuts.
  • You want to earn extra money before the holidays and take pride in a clean, correct result.

The work

You will help install and remove holiday lighting, work from ladders and approved access points, protect homes and property, test the finished work, clean up the site, and communicate any issue that could affect safety, quality, or the customer.

What success looks like

  • Installations are safe, clean, and completed without preventable rework.
  • Wetlands holiday-lighting standards are followed on every site.
  • Assigned daily production goals are met or exceeded without sacrificing safety or quality.
  • Customers’ property is protected and issues are communicated before they become surprises.

Why Wetlands

We believe in greatness through service to our clients, our team, and our community. That means clear expectations, reliable leadership, training on the work, and making things right when something falls short.

What we provide

  • $20/hour plus production bonuses.
  • Paid training on Friday, October 23, at the same $20/hour rate.
  • Approximately 45–50 hours per week for 5–6 weeks, beginning the week of October 26.
  • Hands-on training on Wetlands’ holiday-lighting standards.
  • A field crew and lead to work with.
  • The opportunity to make extra cash before the holidays and be considered for future seasonal work.

This isn’t for you if…

  • You are not comfortable with heights, climbing, or ladders.
  • You are unwilling to complete the required pre-interview demonstration.
  • You regularly miss start times or leave the crew guessing about your availability.
  • You would rather rush than follow the safety and quality standard.
  • You hide mistakes or wait to report a problem until it becomes rework.
