Order Selector Operator (Part Time Overnight Hours) – Edwardsville

Hours:

Friday – Monday (29 hrs) overnight shift, 6 pm‑6 am, PART TIME.

Summary: Frequent stacking of cases onto pallets in a refrigerated warehouse using a lowboy forklift and RF scanner. This position requires handling completed beef and pork product cases, building full pallets, and operating in cold environment.

Responsibilities:

• Move around work area at a fast pace, bend, squat, lift, push, pull up to 40 lb.
• Use handheld scanner to track products as they are loaded, unloaded, and moved.
• Perform other assigned job duties as needed.
• Follow Tyson policies and safety guidelines.
• Willing to cross‑train and be moved to other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year forklift and warehouse experience with the same employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Willing to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 70 lb (occasionally 90 lb).
• Full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, digits, and legs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods with balance.
• May use corrective lenses if needed.
• May be provided PPE for hearing protection.
• Must pass a post‑offer health assessment and drug screening.

Environment:

• Operating stand‑up forklifts and reach trucks for up to 12 hrs in damp and cold conditions ranging from –10 to 30 °F.
• Personal protective equipment provided after a 90‑day probation period.
• Boots with steel or composite toe rated 75 lb or more PSI and slip‑resistant sole covering the ankle.
• May be trained on a Cherry picker for additional tasks.
• Standing or walking up to 100% of the time.

Pay Rate: $25.45/hr eligible for attendance incentive and/or shift premium.

Shifts: Overnight shifts (B, D, F) PART TIME, 29 hrs Friday‑Monday. Shift availability is determined by business needs.
