The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing mail, freight, inter-office correspondence, special mailing projects, and parcels.

• Receive and ship out large volumes of packages and pallets.
• Ensure outgoing mail is sealed and weighed.
• Prepare all mail by applying correct postage and readying it for pick-up via postal service or overnight carrier.
• Use postage machines, computerized delivery tracking, and billing systems.
• Participate in special high-volume mailing projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support efficient mailroom operations.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of postal scale and postal machine usage.
• Ability to operate office equipment (beeper, computer, telephone, copier, fax, postal scale, postal mail machine).
• Effective communication and ability to establish and maintain working relationships with staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Knowledge and compliance of company policies, procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
