About The Role
Sign on bonus eligible! Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Assistant works side by side with the operations team and facilitates seamless and critical support functionality. This position interacts daily with our clients while working to support the needs of the various groups that manage and lead the Facility. They also compile supporting documentation for accounting, invoice distribution, customer queries, and collections.
Additionally, this position includes providing administrative support tasks including but not limited to managing customer distribution information, organizing outbound/inbound paperwork, support scheduling tasks, electronic and paper filing, etc.
- Sending required operational communication internally or externally. Supports the operations manager, facility manager, business manager, finance controller, and customer and client requests.
- Working within People Soft, responsible for new customer set-up, MCF document requests, Metals and Non‑Ferrous Metals recordkeeping, and accurate sales order entry. Reconciles all production and billing reports from scale data.
- Compiles and organizes various data sources and KPIs into spreadsheets or charts for internal departments [Ops/Finance/Procurement]. Audits data entry by Scale Attendants.
- Responsible for accurate inbound & out‑bound billing and pricing process and completing month‑end accruals. Tracks AR payments and resolves customer billing issues timely.
- Reviews open PO Report to assess for GL coding errors, updates pricing as necessary.
- Maintains accurate databases for reports, documents and excel spreadsheets on SharePoint/One Drive and shares access with internal customers as needed.
- Other responsibilities include performing Scale Attendant duties or Facility Administrative duties as deemed necessary by Management.
- Additional duties to be assigned, to meet facility operational needs and requirements.
- This position requires M‑F availability onsite, start and stop times are flexible to support both business and operational need. May require some evening, weekend and/or holiday availability during outages and unplanned events.
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
- Previous experience in industrial/manufacturing industry preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain within the first 90 days of hire their Weighmaster License
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in office management and/or administrative roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating spreadsheets and generating reports
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills
The expected hourly rate for this position is $26.58‑$39.86 per hour. This is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final figure will take into account a variety of factors including experience, ability, and location. Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
