Asa Safety Intern ,youwillhavetheopportunitytoapplyyouracademicknowledgeandtraininginareal-world setting.
Undersupervisionofa Regional Safety Manage rand /orDirectorof
Safetyyouwillbeassistingwithfacilitationofthecompany'ssafetyprogramandprocesses.
Youwilllearnhands-onaboutconstructionactivities,scheduling,risk assessments,planning,andimplementcorrectivemeasuresasnecessary;andatthesametimelearnwhataGBIsafetyprofessionaldoesonadailybasis.
- Reportingandtrackingoforientations,training,audits,incident reports,andotherrelateddocuments,aswellasrecordkeepingofrelateddocuments.
- Assistsinreportingincidents/accidents,investigations,rootcauseanalysisandsubmittingreportsasrequired.
- Responsibleforliaisingwiththesafetypersonnelforinvestigations,medicalandvariousotherreports.
- Coordinatingsafetyeventsasdirectedbythesafetymanagerordivisionpresident.
- Supportstaffinassignedproject-basedwork.
- Supportpublishedcorporatepolicies.
- 12-weekpaidinternshipsbetween$20to $24hourly.
- Cellphonereimbursementisprovided.
- Mileagereimbursementisprovidedforeligiblebusinessrelatedtravel.
- If eligible,weofferfull-timehourlynon-exemptemployeesandtheirfamilies,medical,dentalandvisioncoverage,pluswellnessincentivesandlimitedpaidsickleave.
- CandidatesmusthavethelegalrighttoworkintheUSwithoutemployersponsorship.
- Mustbecurrentlypursuingabachelor’sdegreeininsafety,business,orrelatedmajor,fromanaccrediteduniversity.
- Travelmayberequired.
- Valid driver’slicenseisrequired.
